The Dreiländerstein near Reschen marks the point where the national borders of Italy, Austria and Switzerland meet. It is a popular destination for hikers and lies on the northern shoulder of Piz Lad at an altitude of 2,181 metres. 

Special features of the Dreiländerstein at the Reschen Pass:
Historical border point:Until South Tyrol was ceded to Italy in 1919, the tri-border area lay some 36 kilometres further south. The current Dreiländerstein is therefore a historically more recent border point.
